The Love of God
Faith, hope and love. Our faith, first, comes by hearing the word of God. And is then strengthened through an intimate and personal relationship with Him. Because of our faith in God, we have hope. Hope for a future, hope that doesn’t fail because it is in God not man. But love, true love, Christ-like love. This kind of love eludes many.
The greatest love we will ever know is the love of God. We freely receive God’s love. Love is what we are called to show, share and spread. To love our neighbor as ourselves. Luckily, God’s mercy is new every morning. So each and every day that we wake up is a new opportunity to practice showing Christ-like love. While practice may not make perfect, it does bring us closer to the greatest of these three things…Love.
